Not only can you tell the person writing the letter has changed, but the font used from now on also reflects that, from a playful Snap ITC esq font to a neat, formal, emotionless one. Smiley sends you a letter with the first half being his usual happy happy be happy stuff, and the second half being a punch in the gut, "I don't care".
Money's Portable Entertainment Product.Įventually, Mr. Money for not making them happy enough, and because of the difficulty of the games on Dr. Smiley, his overly happy demeanor is offputting, exactly the opposite of what he's trying to do. Money then sends a apology letter saying that you got the wrong letter and that was meant for Mr. Smiley saying that he'll only be able to see his daughters again if he lowers the suicide rate in prison. However, you start to notice something's off when you get a letter from Dr. Smiley himself, and they aren't fun either. These games mean nothing, they're a mindless distraction from what's really happening in the world, exactly like the Mr. Money's Portable Entertainment Product (basically a gameboy), and throughout the game, he gives you different games to play on it. His letter design is a bright blue, looking like something a child would make. Smiley is your Happy Buddy he exists for the sole purpose of keeping you from killing yourself.
